Hello genealogy and family history friends! It has been a while but I have been busy… building an upgraded website for those researching Poland:
What is Galicia Genealogy and how does it differ from Sunday Morning Genealogy?
Sunday Morning Genealogy will still remain but the focus will be different. With so much of my SMG content being on Poland and its genealogical resources, I decided it was time to make a separation between the two.
All of my indexes will be transferred over to Galicia Genealogy as well as some new features:
- List of Galician Villages along with the records that are available online or at an archive
- Map of Roman Catholic parishes in the former Galician area
- Enhanced search functions for the birth, marriage, and death vital record searches
I will also be working on a form for where we can submit a names of immigrants from Galicia, where they settled, so we can see the diaspora of Polonia. Much of my content will be focused on today’s Podkarpackie voivodeship but I hope to expand to Małopolska in the future.
